WHERE TO FLY
We recommend flying into the Firenze-Peretola Airport (FLR),
which is a 1hr 15min drive to Il Borro - 75 km | 46 miles.
If you plan to fly into the Rome Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport (FCO),
please plan on a driving time of 2hrs 50mins to arrive at Il Borro - 245 km | 152 miles.

Distance from the Pisa Galileo Galiliei Airport (PSA) - 140 km | 87 miles
Distance from the Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport (BLQ) - 62 km | 100 miles

BY TRAIN
If you are traveling by train from a nearby European city, we suggest you
visit the Italian rail website TrenItalia.
There are high-speed trains from many cities that will take you directly
to Santa Maria Novella, Florence's central train station located in the heart of the city.
Make sure to clock on the English language tab to more easily check schedules.
You can book directly on this site.
From there, your next stop will be the Arezzo train station,
the closest major station to Il Borro.
Upon arriving at the Arezzo train station, you will need to take a taxi
or arrange for a private transfer. The driving time from the train station
to Il Borro is approximately 30 minutes.
TAXI
Upon arriving in Florence, the best way to reach Il Borro is by car.
Taxis are available just outside the arrivals terminal.
Expect to pay around €250 for a taxi ride from the Florence Airport.
If you decide to take a taxi from Rome, Bologna, Pisa, or Milan,
we recommend inquiring about the price beforehand.
PRIVATE TRANSFER
Information on private transfers to Il Borro
will be available in the coming months.
Travel
Il Borro has been reserved exclusively for our wedding weekend.
The Savvy Team will be handling all reservations and you will be receiving
information via email to confirm reservations directly.
Check-in is at 3 pm.
If you would like to enjoy the property before check-in,
please arrive at 12 noon. Your bags will be held until your room
is ready. Enjoy the pool, tennis courts or simply explore
the property at your leisure.
Accommodations
Activities
The following activities are available to all guests on property.
Reservations will be taken on a first come, first serve basis, from Thursday to Saturday.
Please reserve via email (guestrelation@ilborro.it) at least 15 days prior to arrival.
HORSEBACK RIDING
Should you wish to schedule a riding session, please contact the front desk.
WINE TOUR
The tour includes a visit to the Wine & Art Gallery and the Cellar.
Friday, October 16 | 11 AM, 12 noon and 5 PM
Saturday, October 17 | 11 AM, 12 noon and 2 PM
SPA
The Spa Suite is available daily from 10 AM to 4 PM by reservation.
Sessions are 1 hour in duration and can accommodate from 2 to 4 people.
Spa Suite access does not include massages or treatments, but does include
steam room, showers, jacuzzi, and a private lounge for relaxation
YOGA
Available on Friday and Saturday morning.
Please arrive by 8:30 AM for the 9 AM class.
THE MALL VISIT
Friday, October 16th
For those interested in visiting the famous outlet mall (The Mall) for luxury shopping,
we will be offering shuttle services to take guests to The Mall and return to Il Borro.
We will have two departures in the morning:
The first bus will leave at 10 AM
The second bus will leave at 12 noon
Return transfers will be available at 2 PM and 4 PM
If you are interested, please let us know so we can reserve your seat on the bus,
as space is limited. If you want to leave The Mall earlier than the scheduled departure times,
please e-mail the planners at The Savvy Team so they may arrange your transfer
back to Il Borro for an earlier time.

MAY I BRING A GUEST?
We would love nothing more than to offer our single guests the ability to bring a plus one, but given the venue constraints, we’re unable to accommodate guests beyond those listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!
ARE CHILDREN WELCOME?
Kids are fantastic, adorable and joyous but... our wedding weekend is for adults only.
The property and the activities planned are not conducive for children. We appreciate your understanding.
WHAT'S THE WEATHER LIKE IN TUSCANY IN OCTOBER?
During this time of year, temperatures are usually comfortable, with cool days and cooler evenings. Average daytime temperatures range from 64° - 72° F, dropping to 59° - 64° F in the evenings. A light jacket or wrap is advisable.
IS THE WEDDING INDOOR OR OUTDOORS?
The ceremony will take place outdoors, surrounded by the gardens of Il Borro.
The wedding reception will be indoors.
WHAT TYPE OF SHOES SHOULD I PACK?
Ladies, we recommend avoiding stilettos as there are many uneven, grassy areas and cobblestones. Block heels, wedges or flats are perfect and will be most comfortable for you.
MAY WE TAKE PICTURES AT THE WEDDING?
We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present in the moment. Our photographers will capture everything beautifully!
Once the celebrations begin, feel free to take and share photos throughout the weekend.
WHAT IF I CAN NO LONGER ATTEND?
If you’re unable to attend, please let us know by September 15th so we can plan accordingly.
